Mersin hosts religious education and pilgrimage programs

Various religious education and spiritual development programs were recently conducted in Mersin, Turkey. The Peygamber Sevdalıları Association organized the ‘Hayat Namazla Güzeldir’ program, which concluded a 15-day prayer awareness training for hundreds of children. The event included a march from Yoğurt Pazarı to the Mersin Ulu Mosque, where children performed poems and hymns.

In a separate initiative, the ‘Hafizlar Umrede’ project facilitated a pilgrimage to holy lands for 20 students who completed their Hafiz training in a short period. Coordinated by the Mezitli District Mufti's Office with support from the Presidency of Religious Affairs and local donors, the project also included four award winners from a youth knowledge competition regarding the life of Prophet Muhammad.
