Mersin hosts religious program and anthology launch

The Mersin Provincial Mufti Office organized the ‘Naat Güldestesi’ program at the Servet Tazegül Sports Hall as part of Mosques and Religious Officials Week. The event featured recitations of naats, kasides, and hymns, attended by Mersin Governor Atilla Toros, MP Ali Kıratlı, Provincial Mufti Mustafa Topal, and various local officials and citizens.

A highlight of the program was the introduction of the anthology titled ‘Anadolu’dan Kutlu Nebi’ye Naatlar’. Mufti Mustafa Topal noted that the work took approximately four months to prepare and includes 63 naats praising the Prophet Muhammad, alongside classic works from the Turkish poetic tradition. Governor Atilla Toros remarked that the anthology is a meaningful study prepared in honor of the 1500th Hijri year of the Prophet’s birth, emphasizing the enduring spiritual heritage of the nation.
