Mersin institutions host leadership and professional development workshops

Various institutions in Mersin, Turkey, are conducting specialized training programs focused on leadership and professional development.

The Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Career Center, through its ‘Kampüs Mersin’ and ‘Garaj Mersin’ hubs, hosted a workshop titled ‘Are You a Leader?’ as part of its ‘Digital Leaders are Coming’ project. Led by Dr. İbrahim İnan from Toros University, the session explored the evolving role of leadership in a digitalized world, distinguishing between management and leadership, and discussing servant leadership and transformation.

In the healthcare sector, the Mersin Provincial Directorate of Health, Mersin City Hospital, and Mersin University’s Faculty of Communication collaborated to organize ‘Corporate Identity and Leadership Training in Health.’ The program addressed the importance of institutional culture, trust, and effective communication in healthcare. Participants included health officials and academics, focusing on topics such as crisis management, teamwork, and professional representation to enhance service quality and institutional reputation.
