Turkish municipalities advance urban and social development projects

Various municipal development projects are progressing across Turkey. In Kocaeli, the construction of a new Social Life Center on the former Interteks Fairground is underway. The 17,000-square-meter facility will consist of seven blocks and include a conservatory, language academy, library, gastronomy workshops, and an entrepreneurship center.

In Kayseri, the Sahabiye Urban Transformation Project is advancing. The second implementation stage has reached 45 percent completion, while the third stage has achieved a 90 percent consensus rate among property owners. The project is being carried out by Emlak Konut GYO in coordination with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

In Mersin, the MERCEK Vocational Training and Education Centers are facilitating employment opportunities. Recent initiatives include career events connecting youth with sectors like tourism and industry, as well as providing English language training to various age groups to support personal and professional development.
