Vezirköprü Electricity Infrastructure Upgrade Receives 2.7 billion TL Investment
Yeşilırmak Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (YEDAŞ) announced a 2.722 billion TL investment to modernize the electricity network in Vezirköprü, Samsun, for the 2026‑2030 period. The programme includes building new substations, renewing existing lines, and upgrading technological systems to reduce outage durations and expand LED street lighting.
Municipal mayor Murat Gül, YEDAŞ Samsun regional manager Sedat Adıgüzel and other officials highlighted that the project follows a previous 423 million TL of upgrades over the last five years. The new works aim to provide more reliable service, strengthen field crews, and improve overall grid resilience for local residents.
The investment was detailed at a press conference in the Vezirköprü Municipality Hall, with representatives from the ruling AK Party, local media and YEDAŞ management attending.
