Mert Akdeniz selected for Barça Academy İstanbul A Team

Mert Akdeniz, a young footballer from Akhisargücü Spor Kulübü, has been selected for the A Team at Barça Academy İstanbul. Following evaluations conducted under the guidance of Catalan directors, Akdeniz demonstrated technical proficiency that met the academy's football methodology standards.

Akdeniz's progression from Akhisar to the Istanbul-based academy was supported by Akhisar Spor Adamları Derneği President İbrahim Macan and coach Yusuf Ziya Uşanda. Additionally, coach Emir Uşan, who is also from Akhisar, currently works at Barça Academy İstanbul, assisting Catalan directors in implementing the academy's training methodologies.
