Spain municipal offices announce holiday closures and police chief recruitment

The town of Meruelo in Cantabria will keep its municipal offices closed on Monday, 8 June, in observance of the patron saint Santa Rita de Casia, a holiday traditionally celebrated by public employees.

Separately, the municipality of Petrer in the Valencian Community has published a selection process to fill a vacancy for the position of Intendente of the Local Police. The internal promotion competition (OEP 2023) will accept applications from 28 July to 25 August, with further details provided in the official notices.
