Mes Shahr Babak has filed an official complaint against Esteghlal following their 4-0 defeat, contesting the eligibility of Albanian winger Yaser Asani. The club's management submitted the formal protest to the match official immediately after the game, and the matter has been recorded in the football federation's system for administrative review.

Mes Shahr Babak CEO Mojtaba Esmaeili confirmed that the club's lawyers are pursuing the matter through judicial channels, stating that documentation has been collected to challenge the validity of Asani's presence in the lineup.
