Mesmerising Opens Deep Purple Concert at Este Music Festival in Italy

Italian alternative‑rock band Mesmerising, formed in Desenzano del Garda in 2023, opened the Deep Purple concert on 17 July 2026 at the Este Music Festival. The event was staged at the Castello Carrarese in Este, province of Padova, Italy. Band members Davide Moscato (vocals, keyboards), Maurizio Bellani (lead guitar), Cristiano Garagna (rhythm guitar), Carlo Zubani (bass) and Stefano Cattalini (drums) performed a set that blended melodic progressiveness with classic rock elements. They said the experience was "an indelible memory" and noted strong audience response and praise from the legendary British group.

Deep Purple, formed in 1968 and inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, attracted a large crowd before playing their own set. Mesmerising announced that the full performance will be released on their YouTube channel, Mesmerising_official, marking a milestone for the young band.
