Messina concludes pre-season training in Cascia

Messina is concluding its ten-day training retreat in Cascia as it prepares for the upcoming Eccellenza Girone B season. The team is currently working on finalizing its defensive roster and will participate in a joint training session with Pol. Campitello.

The club’s first official match is scheduled for August 30 against Messana Riviera in the Sicilian phase of the Coppa Italia di Eccellenza. Due to the unavailability of the “Celeste” stadium and access issues at the “Franco Scoglio” area, the venue for this match is yet to be determined. This tournament is a critical pathway for promotion to Serie D.

Argentine striker Pablo Burzio, a recent signing from Brindisi, has expressed optimism regarding the squad's unity and determination. Burzio noted that a cohesive group is forming and emphasized the team's ambition to compete at a high level despite the challenges of the Sicilian Eccellenza league.
