ACR Messina regains top spot with 4-1 victory over Palazzolo

ACR Messina has reclaimed the solo lead in the Sicilian Eccellenza (Girone B) following a dominant 4-1 away victory against Palazzolo. The match was largely decided within the first thirty minutes, fueled by a standout performance from Tommaso Bonanno, who scored a hat-trick.

Bonanno opened the scoring just one minute into the match. La Spada extended the lead in the 20th minute, followed by Bonanno’s second and third goals in quick succession before the half-hour mark. Palazzolo managed a consolation goal through Orteca in the 39th minute of the second half, but could not challenge Messina's control of the game.

Coach Alfio Torrisi praised the team's cohesion and aggressive approach, noting that the squad functioned as a single unit. This victory moves Messina to 17 points, overtaking Niscemi, who recently drew 0-0 against Vittoria.
