Messina stadium return delayed due to new security mandates

Security requirements in Messina have delayed the return of ACR Messina to the Giovanni Celeste stadium. Following discussions between the Questura and local authorities, it was determined that security measures must be upgraded to levels comparable to Serie D requirements.

Key mandates from Questore Salvatore La Rosa include the installation of a protective net in the Curva Sud to prevent the throwing of objects and the implementation of a retractable protective tunnel, similar to those used at the Franco Scoglio stadium. Consequently, the return to the Celeste facility is expected to be postponed by at least two weeks, potentially occurring around November 1.
