MessinAttiva volunteers collect 315 kg of waste in Peloritani

Volunteers from MessinAttiva conducted an extraordinary cleaning operation along the Peloritani ridge in the Colli Sarrizzo area. During the intervention, twenty volunteers collected 315 kilograms of abandoned waste across a stretch of just over 300 meters, filling 32 bags.

Organizers noted that unlike coastal areas affected by tides, the waste found in the mountains was left by individuals. The group has scheduled their next mobilization for September 20 in Galati Marina to coincide with World Clean Up Day.
