Mesud Selimović to hold farewell kickboxing match in Tuzla

Bosnian kickboxer Mesud Selimović, known as the ‘Bosnian Soldier’, will hold his final professional fight on December 25, 2026, at the Mejdan sports center in Tuzla. The event, titled ‘The Last Dance – Night of Champions VII’, is organized by the Flek Tom-Cat martial arts club with support from the Kickboxing Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Selimović will face Dutch fighter Kevin van Heeckeren, a competitor recognized for his performances in the GLORY kickboxing organization. The match will follow K1 discipline rules.

Over a career spanning more than 150 bouts, Selimović has achieved significant international success, including a silver medal at the 2017 World Games in Wroclaw and bronze medals at the European Championships in Bilbao (2014) and Antalya (2022). In addition to his athletic career, Selimović serves as an officer in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
