Meta adds AI ad disclosure tags while AI voice platform market expands
Meta announced that Facebook and Instagram advertisements that are created or edited with its own generative‑AI tools or third‑party tools such as Photoshop, DALL‑E or similar will automatically display a disclosure label in the “About this ad” section. The label is applied using industry‑standard detection methods, including C2PA metadata, and will cover features like Background Generation, Image Generation and Add Animation.
Separately, a market overview highlighted the rapid growth of AI‑generated voice technology. Platforms such as ElevenLabs, Speechify, Murf AI, PlayHT, WellSaid Labs and Resemble AI now offer hyper‑realistic, multilingual voices with regional accents and voice‑cloning capabilities, enabling businesses to produce localized audio for marketing, customer support, e‑learning and entertainment.
