Meta adds AI image generator to WhatsApp as PAW launches chatbot assistant

Meta announced a new AI feature called Muse Image for WhatsApp, enabling users to generate and edit images from text prompts, create QR codes, and add text overlays. The tool is part of Meta’s broader AI suite and does not require a separate messenger update.

German engineering firm PAW GmbH & Co. KG introduced a WhatsApp‑based AI assistant named Manuel. The chatbot provides instant answers on PAW’s product range, system solutions, technical documentation, and quotation help, and can be accessed by scanning a QR code or following a short URL.
