They also highlighted the risks posed by generative AI, citing the example of “Emily Hart,” a synthetic conservative influencer reportedly created by a medical student in India to spread specific political views.

The group has demanded answers from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg regarding the company’s readiness to address evolving threats across its platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and WhatsApp.
