Meta launches AI-powered game creation app Pocket

Meta has introduced Pocket, a mobile application that lets users generate small interactive games and experiences—called "gizmos"—through simple text prompts processed by artificial intelligence. The service builds on the functionality of Meta's earlier Gizmo platform and includes a scrolling feed where creations from other users can be explored, similar to a TikTok‑style discovery feed.

Pocket is available on Google Play (and the App Store) with a launch date listed as 29 June 2026, though the app is not yet downloadable for all users and some features remain region‑locked. Users must sign in with a Meta account and can incorporate touch, device tilt, camera, and microphone inputs into their games. Finished gizmos can be shared via a link or posted to a public channel for community feedback. The launch is part of Meta’s broader strategy to embed AI tools across its platforms, following previous AI‑driven products such as Meta AI image generation and video‑editing apps.
