Meta launches new AI-powered smart glasses line without Ray‑Ban branding

Meta and EssilorLuxottica have introduced three new Meta Glasses smart glasses, removing the Ray‑Ban label to lower the entry price. The line, sold in Italy from €309 (the Kylie edition at €419), offers three frame styles – Adventurer, Fury and a Kylie‑inspired oval model – in 26 colour combinations and supports prescription lenses.

The glasses embed Meta’s Muse Spark AI, providing open‑ear audio, six microphones, a 12 MP ultra‑wide camera capable of 3 K video, and up to eight hours of use (extended to 40 hours with the charging case). Upcoming software updates will add dynamic photo selection, pedestrian navigation and real‑time translation in 14 languages. They are available through Meta’s website and Italian retailers such as MediaWorld, Unieuro and Salmoiraghi & Viganò.
