Meta updates Ray‑Ban Display glasses with Threads, Muse‑Spark AI and Neural Handwriting

Meta Platforms has begun rolling out a software update for its Ray‑Ban Display smart glasses in the United States and Canada. The update upgrades Meta AI with Muse Spark models, delivering more accurate answers, contextual information about what the user is viewing, and on‑lens data such as weather, stocks and calendar events.

The glasses now integrate Threads, allowing users to browse feeds, view media, interact with posts and share content using voice commands, all without taking out a phone. An Early Access feature for the US/Canada market adds Neural Handwriting via the Meta Neural Band, letting users write commands with a fingertip to invoke Meta AI. Instagram functionality is also refreshed, letting users post Instants and interact with Reels directly from the lenses.
