Metal bands GOROD and GÅTE announce 2026 album releases

German progressive death‑metal group GOROD announced that their new album **The Ember Gone** will be released on 28 August 2026 via Base Productions/Season of Mist. The band previewed the second single “Remains” and noted that the first single “Forgiveness” showcases their most progressive composition to date. GOROD will embark on a European tour with ALLEGAEON in September 2026, visiting venues in France, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Poland.

Norwegian folk‑metal band GÅTE revealed a new video for the track “Oskorsreia”, a song from their upcoming album **Sigil**, scheduled for 25 September 2026 on Season of Mist. The band described the track as a commentary on modern consumption, drawing on traditional Norwegian folk elements and modern rock instrumentation. GÅTE’s previous releases and recent Eurovision participation were also noted.
