Metal festivals Alcatraz and Into the Grave continue their programming with diverse heavy music offerings.

At the Alcatraz festival in Kortrijk, the New York hardcore/crossover band Biohazard performed a set featuring tracks such as "Urban Discipline" and "Fuck the System." The performance included the classic lineup of Evan Seinfeld, Billy Graziadei, Bobby Hambelen, and drummer Danny Schuler.

Meanwhile, day two of the Into the Grave festival featured a variety of genres, including progressive metal acts such as Queensrÿche and Mastodon. The lineup also included Novelization, winners of a Dutch metal battle, and the NWOBHM-inspired band Wings of Steel.
