Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 free on Steam and Xbox until July 27

Konami announced that the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 will be available for free on Steam and on Xbox consoles (including Game Pass) until 27 July 2026. The limited‑time offer runs throughout the weekend of 24‑26 July and ends on Monday, 27 July. In addition to the free access, the company is offering a 50 % discount on the full Master Collection Vol. 1 bundle and on individual titles within the collection. The promotion precedes the launch of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, scheduled for 27 August 2026, and is intended to attract new players ahead of that release.

The free period applies globally to Steam users and Xbox users with an active Game Pass subscription. After the deadline, the games remain playable only if purchased during the promotion. No other games are included in the offer.
