Metal music festivals SonicBlast and Bloodstock hold major events

The heavy metal festival circuit continues with major events in Portugal and the United Kingdom.

SonicBlast 2026 in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, concluded its third day with performances from various artists. The lineup included Summer Of Hate, Primitive Ring, Margarita Witch Cult, Necrot, and 1000 Mods, spanning genres from garage rock to death metal.

Bloodstock 2026 entered its final day with a lineup featuring Castle Rat, Kittie, Testament, Black Label Society, and Body Count. The festival's 25th anniversary edition is scheduled to close with a headline performance by Judas Priest.
