Metal music industry updates: New album releases and announcements

Several metal music releases and announcements have been detailed. Axemaster, a band from Kent, Ohio, is set to release the album ‘Of Beasts And Plagues’ on June 19, 2026.

Master will release their sixteenth full-length album, ‘Among The Seeds Of Death’, via Hammerheart Records on October 16, 2026. The release will be available on CD, vinyl, cassette, and digital formats.

Unholy Redeemer, an international death metal group with members from Australia, Denmark, and Finland, is scheduled to release the EP ‘Journey Beyond Death’ on August 28, 2026, through Extremely Rotten Productions and Dark Descent Records.

Finnish gothic/black metal band Soulgrind has released their tenth full-length album, ‘Ad Pulchram Mortem’, via Inverse Records. Additionally, Spanish death metal band Avulsed has released the track ‘Recantation Of The Forsaken’ ahead of their upcoming covers album, ‘Nordic Embryogenesis’, due September 9, 2026.
