Metal music updates: Blood Thirsty Demons and Sepulcrum announce new releases

Several metal music releases have been announced. Blood Thirsty Demons, a one-man band led by Cristian Mustaine, will release its tenth album, titled ‘Equilibrium’, on October 31, 2026, via C. M. Releases. The album serves as a sequel to ‘Esoteric’ and explores themes of spirituality and esotericism through a blend of horror metal and progressive sounds.

Chilean death metal band Sepulcrum is releasing its second full-length album, ‘Lacerator’, through Chaos Records. The ten-track album features a style influenced by late 1980s and early 1990s death metal, focusing on raw riffs and a dark atmosphere. The release includes tracks such as ‘Lacerator’, ‘Into the Infected Bowels’, and ‘Multideformation’.
