Metal Story exhibition explores metallurgy in Liège

The Metal Story exhibition, titled ‘Savoir fer et défaire’, is opening in Liège to explore the history and lifecycle of metals. The exhibition aims to highlight the presence of metals in daily life, ranging from smartphones and electric vehicles to undersea cables.

Developed in partnership with the University of Liège as part of the European Interreg vi gr UniGR-CIRKLA project and Reverse Metallurgy partners, the exhibit features seven immersive and interactive spaces. Visitors can engage with physical manipulations, quizzes, and a 270-degree immersion into robotic sorting lines. The exhibition runs from September 18, 2026, to March 17, 2027, at Boulevard Raymond Poincaré 17.
