metal.de celebrates 30th anniversary in Wuppertal

The metal music platform metal.de celebrated its 30th anniversary with a two-day event in Wuppertal. The festivities featured performances, including a set by the band Neck Cemetery, and served as a reflection on the underground music scene and its culture.

The celebration took place at local venues such as Eventground and Underground. However, the event also highlighted challenges within the local scene, noting that the anniversary concert may be one of the final events at these specific locations due to changes in lease agreements and shifts within the music community.
