Metalferos reported a net loss of 26.8 million lei for 2025, despite a nearly 60% increase in sales revenue, which reached 437.8 million lei. This loss is higher than the 23.75 million lei loss recorded in 2024.

Financial data indicates significant operational costs, including 55.8 million lei in distribution expenses, 14.1 million lei in administrative costs, and 38.5 million lei in other operating expenses. The company also faced a financial loss of 3.9 million lei, with financial income at 3.7 million lei against 7.6 million lei in expenses.

According to the Public Property Agency, the company's net assets decreased from 299.1 million lei in 2024 to 272.3 million lei in 2025. Due to the negative financial result, no dividends were calculated or paid for 2025. The state maintains a 78.28% stake in the company, which specializes in the collection, processing, and export of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and used batteries.
