Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has released a new video featuring a reading of the final seven stanzas of Edgar Allan Poe’s classic poem, ‘The Raven’. Released in time for Halloween, the video features Hammett in a raven-black jacket, seated with a charred skeleton, while the track ‘Inamorata’ from Metallica’s latest album, 72 Seasons, plays in the background.

Hammett, a well-known horror enthusiast and collector of rare film memorabilia, previously released an instrumental solo album titled Portals in 2022, which was inspired by horror cinema. He has also produced the Fear FestEvil convention and frequently incorporates horror themes into his musical projects and guitar designs.
