Metallica launches residency at Las Vegas Sphere

Metallica is launching its ‘Life Burns Faster’ residency at the Las Vegas Sphere starting October 1. The residency will feature 12 ‘No Repeat Weekends’ over the next six months, where the band performs different setlists on Thursday and Saturday nights to ensure no songs are repeated during each two-day stint.

In addition to the main performances, the band has announced several fringe events and fan experiences across Las Vegas. These include a pop-up shop and fan experience at The Venetian Resort’s Summit Showroom, and ‘The Black Box,’ which will showcase memorabilia and interactive exhibits on select Fridays. Other scheduled activities include a SiriusXM takeover, live discussions with band collaborators, and a Red Cross blood donation event at Fashion Show.

The residency will utilize the Sphere’s immersive technology, including audience-wrapping LED displays and multi-sensory 4D sound, to enhance the concert experience.
