Meteoric Resources lifts Brazil Caldeira rare‑earth measured resources 246%

Meteoric Resources Limited (ASX: MEI) announced on 9 July 2026 an update to the Global Mineral Resource Estimate for its wholly owned Caldeira Rare Earth Element Ionic Clay Project in Brazil. The measured resource was increased by 246% to 128 million tonnes at 2,815 ppm total rare‑earth oxide (TREO).

The global MRE now totals 1.6 billion tonnes at 2,317 ppm TREO after extensive infill drilling of 304 holes (over 9,200 m) across the Capão do Mel, Soberbo and Figueira licences. The drilling converted indicated resources to measured, raising the figure from 11 Mt to 102 Mt across the three deposits and strengthening confidence ahead of a definitive feasibility study.

Managing Director Stuart Gale said the upgrade “reduces future risk and uncertainty, supporting upcoming investment and financing decisions,” and reaffirmed the project's tier‑1 status for ionic‑absorption clay rare‑earth deposits, noting its large tonnage, high grade and excellent recoveries. The estimate also identifies sizable critical magnetic rare‑earth oxides, including 209 kt praseodymium, 594 kt neodymium, 6 kt terbium and 34 kt dysprosium. Additional drilling at Bara do Pacu is ongoing.
