Meteorological forecasts predict first snowfalls across Romania

Weather forecasts from Accuweather and the National Meteorological Administration (ANM) indicate that the first snowfalls of the season are expected in various parts of Romania. In mountain resorts such as Predeal, snow is anticipated as early as October 31, potentially lasting for three consecutive days through November 2, with temperatures dropping to as low as -1 degree Celsius.

In other regions, the timing of the first snow varies. Cities like Brașov, Botoșani, Alba-Iulia, Piatra Neamț, and Suceava may see snow in early November. Bucharest is expected to experience its first snowfall around November 18. In the Vaslui area, the first snow is projected for November 21, with a forecast for a changeable winter featuring cold periods.

Other regional outlooks include Bacău, where snow is expected around November 10, and Iași, with a projected date of November 15. While mountain areas may see early precipitation, cities such as Arad, Timișoara, Galați, and Constanța are expected to experience a milder winter with sporadic snowfall occurring later in November or even in December.
