Metepec authorities find body of missing man

Authorities in Metepec, Mexico, discovered the body of a 47-year-old man named Ubaldo in an advanced state of decomposition. The remains were found near the intersection of Luis Donaldo Colosio private road and Ermita street in the Andrés Molina Enríquez housing unit, hidden under black plastic and a tarp.

Ubaldo had been reported missing since August 8, 2026, and was last seen in the same residential area. Due to the condition of the body, municipal police could not immediately determine if there were signs of violence or injuries. The case has been referred to the homicide division of the State of Mexico Attorney General's Office (FGJEM) for investigation following a forensic autopsy.
