Methamphetamine labs busted in Delhi, India and New Zealand's Far North

Delhi police uncovered a suspected methamphetamine manufacturing and raw material storage facility in the Swaroop Nagar area of north Delhi. The raid recovered about 30 g of MDMA, 1.5 g of heroin, chemicals, beakers and weighing equipment, and resulted in the arrest of a suspect identified as Romeo alias Sky. A woman, Stella Pius, was found dead after allegedly jumping from a balcony during the operation.

In New Zealand's Far North, a year‑long investigation termed Operation Phoenix dismantled a methamphetamine manufacturing and supply network spanning Kaikohe and Kaitaia. Eleven men were charged with offences including manufacturing and supplying meth, and police seized firearms, ammunition, drugs, chemicals, equipment, a cannabis grow room and NZ$15,000 in cash. The operation was supported by specialist units and community‑support programmes.
