METKA acquires 49% stake in Kosmo Kataskevastiki
METKA has signed an agreement to acquire a 49% strategic minority stake in Kosmo Kataskevastiki AE, a Greek technical company specializing in earthworks, excavations, embankments, and site preparation for infrastructure and large-scale private developments.
As a subsidiary of Metlen Energy & Metals PLC, METKA aims to strengthen its operational readiness in the infrastructure sector by securing access to critical earthmoving capabilities. The investment is intended to create a more integrated project execution model, improving resource availability, scheduling, and predictability regarding costs and timelines.
The transaction is structured as a strategic minority participation with established corporate governance rights and a framework for shareholder cooperation, while Kosmo Kataskevastiki and its management team will maintain functional autonomy.
