Metlen Energy & Metals PLC reported record financial results for the first half of 2026. Revenue rose 11% year‑on‑year to €3.987 billion, while EBITDA reached a new half‑year high of €550 million, up 23% from the same period in 2025. Net profit after minority interests increased 23% to €313 million and earnings per share rose to €2.18.
Strong operating cash flows allowed the group to cut adjusted net debt by €728 million, improving the net leverage ratio to 1.7 × from 3.1 × at the end of 2025. The company reaffirmed its full‑year EBITDA guidance of €1.0‑1.15 billion and its medium‑term target of €1.92‑2.08 billion.
Metlen also signed its first aluminium offtake agreement with a leading US technology company, covering 25% of total production, and completed the electrification and commissioning of battery‑energy‑storage system (BESS) projects totalling about 0.4 GW in Greece and Italy.
