Metlen Energy & Metals receives positive outlook from Platow Börse

German investment firm Platow Börse has issued a positive outlook for Metlen Energy & Metals, highlighting the company's strategic position in energy, metallurgy, and critical raw materials. The analysis notes that Metlen's business model aligns with global growth trends by integrating renewable energy, grid infrastructure, energy storage, and strategic materials.

Metlen's first-half financial results showed strong momentum, with revenues increasing by 11% to €3.99 billion. EBITDA reached a historic high of €550 million, while net profits rose to €313 million from €254 million in the same period last year, exceeding market expectations.

Key operational developments include the commissioning of approximately 0.4 GW of battery energy storage systems in Greece and Italy, with an additional 1.6 GW currently under development. Furthermore, Metlen has secured a long-term agreement with a leading US technology group for 25% of its planned annual gallium production. Gallium is identified as a critical raw material for artificial intelligence, telecommunications, defense, and green energy technologies.
