METLEN launches 10th cycle of ‘Engineers in Practice’ program

METLEN has launched the 10th cycle of its ‘Engineers in Practice’ program, a paid one-year internship designed for recent engineering graduates. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic education and the labor market by providing practical experience in real-world working conditions.

Participants engage in various company activities, ranging from energy projects to site operations, working alongside experienced professionals. The program has historically demonstrated high rates of professional absorption, with many participants transitioning into permanent roles within the company.

While rooted in Greece, the program has expanded internationally, offering similar opportunities to engineers in the United Kingdom and Italy.
