MetLife Investment Management launches One MIM brand in Taiwan
MetLife Investment Management (MIM) has officially launched its ‘One MIM’ brand, integrating the strengths of Bradesco Investment to enhance its global asset management capabilities. The firm manages $748 billion in assets and operates across 19 countries and regions with a team of over 850 investment experts specializing in fixed income, equities, multi-asset, real estate, and alternative investments.
In Taiwan, the company is implementing a four-stage brand rollout strategy to deepen local market connections. General Manager Tung Chun-nan stated that the integration marks a milestone in the company’s ‘New Frontier’ strategy. Future plans for the Taiwan market include applying to establish a core regional center, evaluating entry into the Kaohsiung Asia Financial Center, and considering the issuance of ETFs.
Market analysts within the firm noted that while high interest rates and inflation continue to cause global market volatility, corporate earnings remain resilient. They highlighted opportunities in AI-driven sectors and the increasing attractiveness of investment-grade bonds for risk diversification.
