Metán residents report Virgin Rosa Mística statue wept blood

Residents of Metán, in the southern region of Salta, reported that a statue of the Virgin Rosa Mística appeared to weep blood again on Tuesday night. The incident occurred at an oratory located in the home of Rosana Mendoza.

Mendoza stated that the phenomenon was observed around 9:30 PM after a child had finished praying at the site. This event marks the first such occurrence in approximately two years, with the previous instance recorded in July 2024.

The family, the Frías-Mendoza household, claims the 50-centimeter plaster figure has exhibited similar phenomena since April 2017, occasionally producing both red-colored liquid and clear tears. While the reports have drawn significant local attention, the Church of Salta has not issued an official recognition of the events.
