Metrô BH begins commercial operations at Amazonas Station

Metrô BH has announced the start of partial commercial operations at the Amazonas Station on Line 2, beginning Thursday, October 1, 2026. Following the conclusion of assisted operations on September 30, the station will transition from free access to paid service.

During this initial phase, the station will operate Monday through Friday, from 5:15 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. On weekends and holidays, the station will remain closed to allow for continued infrastructure implementation. Full commercial operation, running seven days a week, is scheduled to commence on November 1, 2026.
