Metro de Lima Line 1 announces September 2026 schedules and Batman theme

Metro de Lima's Line 1 has announced its service schedules and special themed activities for September 2026.

As part of the Batman Day Peru 2026 celebrations, a train car on Line 1 is expected to feature a complete branding overhaul inspired by the Batman universe. The themed car, which may include imagery of the Caped Crusader and his iconic villains, is slated to run throughout the month starting September 19. The decorated train will traverse the route between San Juan de Lurigancho and Villa El Salvador.

Regarding regular operations, the transit authority has finalized service frequencies for the month. On weekdays, service runs from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with peak intervals as short as three minutes during morning and evening rush hours. The schedule includes a total of 520 trips, consisting of 444 regular runs and 76 additional services.
