Metroborgo Film Academy hosts successful 'Cinema d’Estate' in Montalto delle Marche

On July 31, the Metroborgo Film Academy, a cinema‑training school promoted by the CNA of Ascoli Piceno in partnership with CNA Marche, held a “Cinema d’Estate” day at the Auditorium Sant'Agostino in Montalto delle Marche. The event, part of the Metroborgo MontaltoLab project and under the patronage of Fondazione Marche Cultura and the Marche Film Commission, gathered dozens of film professionals, industry workers and prospective students from across the Marche region and beyond.

The programme featured speeches from local officials and a keynote by Antonio Saccone, president of the Cinecittà board of directors, who praised the initiative and announced plans to cooperate with the Academy to make it a national reference for cinema training. A panel titled “Il cinema nelle Marche”, moderated by actresses Rebecca Liberati and Daphne Scoccia, included Andrea Agostini, president of Fondazione Marche Cultura, and Alessandro Tarabelli, president of CNA Cinema e Audiovisivo Marche, discussing the growth of the regional audiovisual sector.
