Metrogas releases 2025 Sustainability Report with AI integration

Metrogas has released its seventh Sustainability Report for 2025, highlighting the company’s economic, social, and environmental performance. A key feature of this year’s report is the introduction of an artificial intelligence-based online assistant, designed to allow users to interactively query specific indicators, programs, and results within the document.

The company reported achieving 100% of its investment plan and noted its third consecutive year of financial growth. Additionally, Metrogas was awarded the 2025 National Quality Award in the Integrated Management category.

Regarding operations and environmental impact, the company continued replacing cast iron pipes with polyethylene to enhance network safety and reduce fugitive emissions. Metrogas also reported a 3% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to 2024 and noted that no environmental fines or sanctions were recorded during the period.
