Metropolitan Amfilohije's works promoted at 13th Trg od ćirilice

The 13th 'Trg od ćirilice' event was held to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the passing of Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral. The gathering featured the promotion of his selected works, which encompass a half-century of theological, pastoral, and literary creation in multiple languages, including Serbian, Greek, Russian, French, Italian, and German.

Speakers at the event included Bishop Kirilo of Buenos Aires and South and Central America, Professor Dušan Krcunović, and Stefan Sinanović. Bishop Kirilo highlighted the Metropolitan’s integral approach to theology, noting that his work did not seek to create new dogmatic systems but rather made Orthodox tradition personal and lived. He emphasized that for Amfilohije, there was no sharp divide between dogmatics, anthropology, and liturgy, as everything centered on Christ.

Professor Krcunović noted that the Metropolitan’s efforts to restore spiritual life occurred alongside the strengthening of faith in public spheres such as culture, education, and politics, drawing parallels to the legacy of Saint Sava.
