Metropolitan Atanasije leads liturgy at Holy Trinity Monastery

Metropolitan Atanasije of Mileševo presided over the Holy Hierarchical Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Monastery near Pljevlja. He was joined by the monastery's abbot, Iguman Zosim, Hieromonk Matej, and Protodeacon Ivan Savić.

During his pastoral sermon, the Metropolitan reflected on the life of Saint Lawrence, a third-century archdeacon. He discussed how divine providence can manifest even in times of suffering and imprisonment, noting that such trials can serve to demonstrate the presence of God in difficult circumstances.
