Metropolitan Damaskinos discusses Divine Liturgy and faith

Metropolitan Damaskinos of Aetolia and Acarnania shared a religious message regarding the significance of the Divine Liturgy as a pathway to the Kingdom of God.

Drawing on the teachings of the Holy Fathers, the Metropolitan described the Church as a mystery founded upon the incarnation of the Son of God. He noted that the rapid spread of Christianity across the ecumene occurred despite centuries of persecution, achieved not through worldly wisdom or rhetoric, but through divine grace.

Referencing the First Epistle to the Corinthians, he highlighted the hardships faced by the Apostles, noting that many were considered the "refuse of the world." He concluded by reflecting on the humility of holy figures, such as the Virgin Mary, who lived an inconspicuous life.
