Metropolitan Hospital to host Thoracic Actions medical symposium

The Scientific Society of Metropolitan Hospital will host the “THORACIC ACTIONS” symposium on November 6 and 7 at the Marriott Hotel in Athens. The event aims to highlight advancements and innovations in treating thoracic diseases through the presentation of modern diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical approaches.

Organized in collaboration with the “Anasa” Pulmonology Clinic and the Thoracic Surgery Clinics of Metropolitan Hospital and Metropolitan General, the symposium focuses on enhancing scientific cooperation and knowledge exchange among healthcare professionals.

The scientific program covers a wide range of topics, including the comprehensive management of lung cancer, recent developments in severe asthma management and the use of biological agents, and the handling of respiratory emergencies. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to robotic thoracic surgery, highlighting its evolving role in expanding surgical possibilities for selected thoracic conditions.
