Metropolitan Ignatios attends spiritual assemblies in Volos

Metropolitan Ignatios of Demetrias attended the opening of the Holy Scripture, Student, and Youth Study Assemblies in Volos. During the event, the Metropolitan performed traditional blessings at the Holy Chapel of Panagia Glykofilousa at the Spiritual Center of the Holy Metropolis of Demetrias.

Protopresbyter Charilaos Papageorgiou, the coordinator of the assembly, introduced this year's study theme, which focuses on the Book of Revelation by John the Theologian. In his address, Metropolitan Ignatios emphasized the importance of studying the Holy Scriptures, describing them as the ‘book of life’ and the word of God. He noted that true engagement with the divine word requires an open heart rather than mere logical understanding.
